Under the framework of the European call LIFE, in September 2013 marked the start of the «Eucalyptus Life Energy» project with a temporary forecast three-year development and important goals to achieve in the field of energy recovery from waste.
The main objective of the project «Integrated Wood Processing Eucalytus» lies in the design and construction of a pilot plant for the production of electrical energy by pyrolyzing waste mass cut eucalyptus. Besides using a residue that would be necessary to remove the place of generation during pyrolysis biochar fertilizer properties and excellent capture of atmospheric CO2 (biochar) is produced, thus contributing to the fight against climate change.
